ITNonline.com and DIcardiology.com Eclipse One Million Page Views in 2016
Arlington Heights, IL (January 12, 2017) — Both Imaging Technology News’ (ITN) website, ITNonline.com, and Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiology’s (DAIC) website, DIcardiology.com, logged more than one million page views by year’s end in 2016.
Traffic to both of Scranton Gillette Communications’ healthcare websites has spiked dramatically since a redesign was completed in July 2015, making both sites fully responsive for optimal viewing on mobile devices. Simplified navigation made the websites more user friendly. ITN’s and DAIC’s highly regarded online comparison charts also were revitalized.
Web-exclusive content, blogs, webinars and videos continue to be a big draw. Focused marketing and a strategic SEO strategy, as well as stepped-up social media and e-newsletter postings also have been successfully directing visitors to both websites.
From January 1 through December 31, 2016, ITNonline.com logged 555,482 visits, 396,628 unique visitors and 1,061,417 page views, with nearly 71% of the website viewings by new visitors. The 2016 end-of-year total visits increased by 17% over 2015‘s end-of-year visits. More dramatically, unique visits increased by 301% in the last five years.
DIcardiology.com recorded 698,306 visits, 503,444 unique visitors and 1,092,702 page views from January 1 through December 31, 2016, with 71% of the website viewings by new visitors. The 2016 end-of-year total visits increased by 38% over 2015‘s end-of-year visits. Unique visits increased by 360% in the last five years.
